This year was the third time I've made this trip with West Madison Little League to Helfaer Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. WMLL took 10 teams and played 5 games beginning at 10:30 AM and finishing at around 9:00 PM. This was an amazing experience for kids and adults alike (even the Umpires).

Umpire Crew (Jake, Mike, Stuart)

This is a very well organized event and the level of play is top notch. We played 5 games with 1 hour and a 45 minute time limits. None of the games went over 1 hour and twenty. The first two games had the home team coming from behind to win in the bottom of the 6th. The last three games were decided earlier but no matter what the score all the players hustled and played their best. The umpire crew agreed that the level of play was equal to what we would expect in the all-star games coming up at the end of the season.

I would like to thank Bill Bautista (President WMLL) for organizing and executing such a great event. I would also like to thank my fellow umpires for their great work - I hope I measured up. I know I had a great time and will volunteer again in the future - if I am able.
